If you did NOT select the Propel Package then your title will not be presented at the HarperCollins Focus sales conference and it can begin to print and ship on the Release Date which is the Wednesday five (5) weeks after you give final approval on the cover and interior files and approve all information related to your book (title, price, description, etc.). Any orders that stores submit prior to the Release Date can be expected to be received and merchandised appropriately by the On Sale Date which is the Tuesday 27 days after the Release Date. The On Sale Date is also the date when your marketing should launch directing potential readers into stores since that is the date when copies should be available for purchase and when online retailers can show your title as in stock.

If you selected the Propel Package then your title will be presented at the HarperCollins Focus sales conference and it can begin to print and ship on the Release Date two (2) months after sales conference (specific date to be determined by HarperCollins Focus). To qualify for sales conference, all the information about the title and all editing and design work must be final and approved by the List Closing deadline two months prior to sales conference. If the deadline is missed then the title will be rescheduled for the following sales conference and will then be required to meet the List Closing deadline for that sales conference.
